Lunches for your family

When I wake up late, lunches make me angry. I scramble to make something – anything. I have learned that the best lunch for my morning rush is a lunch I made the night before. Tips:

  • After dinner, package all your leftovers in single-serving reusable containers. Don’t put things in one big Tupperware. It’s easy to do, but resist the temptation. 6:45 a.m. you will be grateful.
  • When you unload the groceries, package your non-perishable snacks – almonds, pretzels, peanuts –  in teeny reusable containers. Like those ½ cup ones.
  • Package cupcakes or cookies in single serving reusable containers.

Stack these things on top of each other. Throw an apple on top of that stack and voila – you have made a lunch. And it’s only 6:46 a.m. Go you.
